TWO LOONIES

If you’re an animal lover, you’ll agree that our furry friends bring a certain je ne sais quoi to our lives. For this client, her two red heelers are the joy of her life, and there’s so much character in each of them. Lou - the facing dog - is a big softy, and loves a cuddle no matter the person, but makes sure he looks out for his older sister Saffy, not that she needs it. Sassy, energetic and a ball of attitude, there’s nothing Saffy loves more than her ball time.

This painting was a complete collaboration with our two furry models. On my Instagram, you’ll see the fun I had teaching the two how to paint and really, just playing with them before putting my own work over the pet portrait.
